Hanshi Teller, a student of Grand-Master Peter Urban, began his training at the Zen Goju Temple in Brooklyn, N.Y.,
under Shihan Vincent Merenda. 
He moved to Florida in 1978 (after receiving his Nidan from Grand-Master Urban) to continue his college education. 
That same year,  Hanshi Teller established the first Karate Club at the University of West Florida, and began teaching
USA Goju Karate. 
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree  from the University of West Florida,
Hanshi moved to Gainesville Florida, and opened the Gainesville Dojo.

Kyoshi Stacey Boyette began her martial arts training in the Japanese karate style of Kyokushinkai in 1972 and received her Shodan in 1977. 
After relocating for graduate school, she began her training in USA Goju Karate with Hanshi Keith Teller at the Gainesville Dojo in 1986. 
Under Hanshi Teller’s tutelage Kyoshi Boyette won the Florida State Women’s Full-Contact Karate Title in the lightweight division in 1987. 
Following graduate school, she began teaching USA Goju Karate wherever her career took her and also began training in Goshin Do Karate in 1992. 
Kyoshi Boyette currently lives in Falls Church, VA and maintains close ties with Hanshi Teller and the Gainesville Dojo. 
She teaches Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and USA Goju Karate at the Madeira School in McLean, VA.

The Gainesville Dojo is located at 536 SW 2nd Avenue, Gainesville, Florida, 32601.
The 5500 Square foot facility houses a full boxing and kickboxing center, and is also the home of GH# 047.
Classes are taught Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:00 P.M. to 7:45, P.M.
and on Saturday from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
